Divorcee Carl Allen (Jim Carrey) is depressed, withdrawn and scared of taking risks. His best friend Peter (Bradley Cooper) pressures his friend to get his life together. Carl’s life seems to be going nowhere, “no” being the operative word; until he signs up for a self-help program based on one simple covenant: say yes.
