Christopher Gorman and Susan Misner star in this romantic family comedy about a mild-mannered accountant who finds himself thrust into the spotlight when he foils a robbery in a costume shop while trying on a superhero outfit, throwing New York into a tumult about "Man America".Inspired by the young son (Ben Hyland) of his new client, widow Katie Wells (Susan Misner), accountant Dennis Sullivan (Christopher Gorman) visits a costume hire shop to look for the "Man America" costume that Ben admires. While in the changing room, Dennis overhears the shop owners being menaced by a would-be thief, and he decides to surprise the robber by pretending to be the actual superhero, managing to foil the robbery in the process. Dennis' bravery is caught on security camera, which comes to the attention of the media, and Man America literally becomes the hero of New York and the entire country, as its citizens seek out a positive role model to look up to.
