The voices of Michael Keaton and Cary Elwes star in this animated action adventure about an Italian World War I fighter pilot, who now has the appearance of a pig, who takes on aerial pirates for a living, but he meets his match in a cocky American pilot.Previously a feted fighter pilot for the Italian Air Force during World War I, Porco Rosso (Michael Keaton), who now has the visage of a pig, spends his time protecting the cruise ship trade from pirates by flying sorties around the Adriatic Sea. When an American pilot (Cary Elwes) appears on the scene, a fierce rivalry emerges, but Porco Rosso suffers a setback when his beloved plane is damaged after the two engage in a bitter dogfight. Porco Rosso takes his plane to a hangar in nearby Milan, where he is surprised to find a young female mechanic, Fio (Kimberley Williams) who fixes it with care and attention. Back in the cockpit, Porco Rosso is ready to fight another day.
