Uma Thurman and Evan Rachel Wood star in this dramatic thriller about the approaching anniversary of a school shooting tragedy and its impact on a woman who was a student on that fateful day, who struggles with unresolved guilt about what happened to her and her best friend. On the brink of graduation from high school, Diana (Evan Rachel Wood) worries her best friend Maureen (Eva Amurri) as she behaves with reckless abandon. About to start their adult lives, things change forever in an instant when a shooting at their school shatters their world. Years later, Diana is living a much more sedate life, with a teenage daughter (Gabrielle Brennan) of her own, whose behaviour seems to mirror her own youthful years. Something seems to lie under the surface of Diana's life, however, and it is only when the 15th anniversary of the shooting comes around that the truth about a choice that the two girls made that fateful day comes to the surface.
