Two cops from different sides of the track have to team up to solve a string of brutal murders. When one of them is linked to the victims, they have to race against the clock to find the real killer. Lt. Jack Cole (Steven Seagal) is a new age, martial-arts-practising cop from New York, sent to Los Angeles to help Detective Jim Campbell (Keenen Ivory Wayans) solve a string of murders by a killer nicknamed “The Family Man”. Cole’s chequered past catches up with him when the latest victims are his ex-girlfriend and her husband. Jack has to find the real killer before his enemies close their net.
