Thomas Ian Griffith and Chris Mulkey star in this action thriller about a former Marine turned mercenary soldier who learns that the close friend whom he left behind in a gunfight to the death in Vietnam survived, prompting him to return to help him escape.In a desperate situation, an ex Marine named Mike Weston (Thomas Ian Griffith) is forced to listen to his commanding officer and leave behind his colleague and partner Jones (Chris Mulkey) who they believe has died in the gunfight raging around them. Years later, a haunted Weston learns that Jones is still alive but is being held captive by a sadistic Vietnamese general (Spanky Manikan). There is no question in Weston's mind that he must return to free Jones, but the situation on the ground proves to be much more complicated than first anticipated, not that Weston will let that stop him from his objective.
